January 8, 2026

Good evening, Polaris Families!

Welcome back and Happy New Year! We have been having an exciting start to 2026. The building is full of energy, activity, laughter, and learning. As you walk through the halls the excitement is palpable!

So far this week we have been hearing students excitedly tell us about what they have learned of Greek Mythology, listened to them brag about their skills with computer science, and heard of their newfound appreciation of the intricacies of movie production and storylines. We have also been bombarded with paper airplanes flying through the atrium and been shocked by electricity projects they have created. The excitement of some others are not quite as obvious - students fully immersed as they silently focus on their mosaic creations, learn to dance, juggle, or play games of strategy, and the ones that leave the building daily to learn about automotive maintenance or various sports. There is so much happening, it is difficult to cover it all. Whatever the intensive, though, the students are learning valuable lessons through activities they love - what better way to learn is there than that? We are reminded during weeks like these why we love this program so much and how lucky we are to be a part of it.

With less than five months left in the school year, the second semester at Polaris brings many exciting events, so watch for more information in upcoming issues of the Wolf Weekly.

With care and kindness,

Team Polaris

Reminders from Previous Issues:

Winter Intensive | Payments Are Now Past Due

Winter Intensive payments were due December 12th.  If you have not already done so, please log in to ParentConnect to make your payment as soon as possible to secure your student’s seat. Payments may also be made by cash or check in the front office.

Students with intensive fees that have not been paid will have Spring Intensive registration requests held until all other requests have been granted and will not be eligible for any high-cost Spring Intensives .

If you are having trouble accessing ParentConnect or need any assistance, please reach out to the front office—they are happy to help!

From the Office | Chromebook Accountability

We request that you please encourage your students to practice our school-wide expectation of accountability by charging their Chromebooks and bringing them to school daily. We have seen an increase in students that come to the office to borrow Chromebooks on a daily basis and our supply is limited. Students that have mentioned problems with their Chromebooks or chargers have been encouraged to bring those items to the office for repair or replacement. Thank you for working with us to help your students be successful.
